Mary (Werden) Green

Mrs. Mary Werden Green, age 101, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024.

Mrs. Green was born in Dublin, Georgia, on May 3, 1923, to the late Emmett L. and Alberta Miller Werden. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mrs. Green was a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church and always enjoyed fishing with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Edward Green, and son, John Ross Green.

Survivors include her daughter, Genie Taylor, of Dublin; sons: David Green (Linda), Jimmy Green (Rita), and Bob Green (Marsha), all of Montrose; nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Walnut Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeffery Alligood will officiate.
