Mary (Myrtice) Powell

Mary "Myrtice" Powell, age 96, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020.

Mrs. Powell was born on October 17, 1923 in Treutlen County to the late John and Pearl Foskey Graham. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of God in Wrightsville. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Powell; and siblings, Reba Walker, Vera Arrington, Gladys Graham, Horace Graham, Johnny A. Graham, and Elbert Graham.

She is survived by her children, Valerie Fountain (Robert), of Dublin, Robert Powell, Kathleen Maddox, Carolyn Pope (Roy Gene), and Otha Powell (Harriett), all of East Dublin, and Melany Braswell, of Wrightsville as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Westview Cemetery in Wrightsville. Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate.
