Michael Anthony Helms

Michael Anthony Helms, age 61, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

Mr. Helms worked as an industrial painter for the majority of his adult career. He also worked for Big R Customs for several years and was an avid collector of coins. He also loved playing the guitar, drawing, and reading comics.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Joe and Eula Mae Helms; sister, Patricia “Pat” Boudreau; and brothers, Tony Jerome Helms and David Wayne Helms.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Helms; son, Michael Helms, Jr., (Sarah); step-daughter, Tammy Hagans (John); step-sons, Walter Smith (Shelby) and Robert Smith (Janey); sister, Debbie Purvis; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM at Dublin Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, with a graveside service to follow at 3:30 PM.
