Micky Darien Evans

Micky Darien Evans, age 50, of Dublin, passed away on August 9, 2020.

Micky was born in Laurens County on February 14, 1970, to James R. Evans and the late Donna Adams.  He was employed by Rentz Cabinet Company for over 20 years. He spent his free time as a mechanic and enjoyed working on dirt track race cars. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Evans.

He is survived by his daughter, Kendall Evans, of Albany; father, James R. Evans, of Rentz; brothers, Tony Evans, of New Orleans, and Jason Evans, of Rentz. He is also survived by a half brother, Eric Sawyer, of Stark, FL, and several stepbrothers and stepsisters.

A graveside service will be held for Mr. Evans on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Lovely Grove Baptist Church in Eastman, GA beginning at 11:00 AM. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines, and facemasks are encouraged for all who attend.
