Mildred (Ward) Hart

Mildred Ward Hart, age 97, passed away on August 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate.

Mrs. Hart was born on December 14, 1927, in Dexter, Georgia to the late Matthew C. Ward and the late Julia Davis Ward. She attended New Bethel Baptist Church and was retired from JC Penny. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Chester Hart; grandson, Thomas Joe Belcher, and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl C. Belcher (Abner) of Americus; grandson, Gregory Belcher (Christy) of Commerce; granddaughter-in-law, Chrystal Belcher of Americus; five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
