Mildred Graham Tanner, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, in Dublin, Georgia. Born on November 7, 1939, in Adrian, Georgia, Mildred's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and selflessness that she embodied throughout her 85 years.
Mildred was the cherished daughter of the late Loni Heuett and Ollie Mae Collins Heuett. Her journey through life was shared with her late husbands, Carl Graham and John Edmond Tanner, and she was predeceased by her loving son, Carlos Graham. Her legacy continues through her daughter, Carol Graham Grubbs; her step-children, Terri Brown (Ricky), Johnny Tanner, Robert Tanner (Donna), and Timmy Tanner (Donna); her grandsons, Brian Yates and Josh Graham; granddaughters, Crystal Graham and Victoria Graham, and many other step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mildred's brother, Talmadge Heuett, along with several nieces and nephews, also survive her.
Mildred's life was marked by her unwavering commitment to her faith as a long-standing member of Central Drive Baptist Church. Her involvement in the church community was a source of strength and inspiration, not only to her but to all who knew her.
An avid reader, Mildred found solace and adventure within the pages of countless books. Her love for crossword puzzles was also a pastime she enjoyed along with traveling and creating memories with her loved ones.
Graveside services for Mrs. Tanner will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tim Tanner and Rev. W.L. Currie will officiate.
