Molly Belote Gay, age 53, of Dublin, GA, passed away on July 9, 2024.
Molly was born in Laurens County on September 21, 1 970. She was a graduate of Dublin High School where she played on the tennis team. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Georgia in Early Childhood Education.
She was saved by the grace of Christ and a member of Pine Forest Methodist Church. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and various other ministries.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to making a loving home for her family.
Molly was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Colter Belote.
She is survived by her sons, William Evan Gay and Mitchell Moye Gay, both of Atlanta, GA; her father, Mike (Gail) Belote; brother, Michael (Shelia) Belote; sister Kimberly Belote Worthman, all of Dublin, and several nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends at Molly’s home, 413 Village Drive in Dublin, GA.
A private family graveside service will be held at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ABC Women’s Clinic, in honor of her mother, Connie Belote, P.O. Box 1927, Dublin, GA 31040.
