Nannette Dominy Obituary

Nannette Dominy, age 81, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, in Dublin, Georgia. Born on March 29, 1944, to Clifton Bunion Moore and Dora Maddox Moore, Nannette's life was a testament to the enduring power of love, family, and community service.

Nannette's radiant spirit will be dearly missed by her loving family, including her daughter, Renee Dominy Chambers (Jerry) of Dexter, and her son, William B. Dominy, Jr. (Cherie) of Rentz. She was the proud grandmother to Justin Dominy, Josh (Lauren) Dominy, Cam (Sarah) Clayton, Jacob (Stevie) Dominy, Carly (Mat) Clayton, and Alyssa Dominy. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly through her great-grandchildren: Logan, Layland, Jack, Emmie, Anders, Saige, Aiven, and Julian, who will carry forward her lessons of kindness and compassion.

Before her passing, Nannette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Billy" Dominy, Sr.; her parents, Clifton and Dora Moore; and her brother, Clifton B. Moore, Jr. Each of them played a significant role in her life, providing her with love and support that she, in turn, poured into her community.

For over six decades, Nannette graced the town of Dublin with her talent as a beautician, touching the lives of countless individuals with her skillful hands and warm conversation. Her dedication to her craft was matched only by her commitment to her customers, who often became lifelong friends. Alongside her business partner, Becky Crosby, Nannette created a space where everyone was welcome and left feeling their best.

Nannette's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found joy and solace in her membership at Jefferson Street Baptist Church. Her devotion to her faith was evident in the way she lived her life, always putting others before herself and serving as a pillar of strength and kindness in her community.

Those who knew Nannette will remember her as a woman whose life revolved around her family. She was a constant presence at family gatherings, celebrations, and even the most mundane of days, offering her unwavering support and love. Her role as a caregiver extended beyond her immediate family, as she often lent her strength and care to friends and neighbors in their times of need. Her family saw her as a true angel on earth.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Janice Currie officiating.
