Neal Watson

Neal Watson, age 76, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 with his family by his side.

Neal was born in Orlanda, FL on November 9, 1947 to the late Dreyfuss O’Neal Watson, Sr. and the late Hazel Hurst. Neal was a beloved husband, dad, brother, and papa. He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was the former owner and operator of Badcock & More of Dublin and has worked with Badcock Furniture since 1969.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years, Judy Watson of Dublin; daughter, Kim Fuller (Dale) of Dudley; son, Stephen Watson of Cochran; daughter, Wendy Sumner (Tim) of Dublin; grandchildren, Josh Fuller (Betsy), Bethany Fuller, and Rebecca Phillips (Avery); two future great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Watson (Carrie) of Tavares, FL; sister, Carol Boyle (Dennis) of Eustis, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM at New Bethel Baptist Church. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate.
