Mrs. Anderson worked as a nurse for thirty-two years, beginning her career at Laurens Memorial Hospital and ending her career at Fairview Park Hospital. Over the course of her nursing career, she worked in the emergency room, as well as the respiratory, cardiology, and intensive care units. Her most recent work was in the operating room. Known for her hospitality and caregiving attributes, Mrs. Anderson spent her life serving others. She also enjoyed traveling, sewing, and the beach at St. Simons Island. Her favorite pastime was supporting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

The Nurse’s Prayer
Give me strength and wisdom when others need my touch; a soothing word to speak to them, their hearts yearn for so much. Give me joy and laughter, to lift a weary soul; pour in me compassion to make the broken whole. Give me gentle healing hands, for those placed in my care; a blessing to those who need me, this is a nurse’s prayer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the senior adult ministry at First Baptist Church of Dublin.
