Patricia (Elliott) Askew

Patricia Elliott Askew, age 69, of East Dublin, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

Mrs. Askew was born in Laurens County on October 18, 1952, to the late James and Delores Elliott. She retired from the Dublin City Schools where she worked many dedicated years as a food supervisor. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, going to the mountains, baking (cooking), and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Elliott, and great-niece, Jessalyn Young.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Askew, Sr. of East Dublin; sons, Jeffery Askew, Jr. (Shana) and Peter Askew (Holli), both of East Dublin; granddaughter, Alyssa Askew (Cameron Dover) of Scott; grandson, Peyton Askew (Maggie Wynn) of East Dublin; great-grandsons, Ryker and Jentson Dover, both of Scott; brothers, Don Elliott (Wanda) of Dublin and Johnny Elliott of East Dublin; nephew, Don Elliott, Jr. of East Dublin; nieces, Mindy Young (Brad) and Crystal Garnto (Chad), both of East Dublin; aunts, Judy Stewart (Jerry) of Dublin, Val Smith of East Dublin, Margo Gregory (Arnold) of East Dublin, and Nett Best of Dublin; sister-in-law, Kathy Bruckmair (Franz) of Dublin; brother-in-law, Steve Askew (Lash) of Vidalia; special friend, Rhonda Tyson (Benny Walker) of East Dublin, and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Askew will be hosted by her loving friends and family at a later date.
