Patricia (Bryant) McDonald

Patricia A. Bryant McDonald, age 68, passed away peacefully in Waverly Hall, Georgia. Born on October 19, 1956, in Lumber City, Georgia, Patricia was a beacon of faith and gentleness throughout her life. She embarked on her final journey to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Patricia was the loving daughter of the late Marcus Bryant and Minnie Lee Googe Bryant. Her life was enriched by the companionship of her late husband, Rev. Harold McDonald, Jr., with whom she shared a profound bond of love and dedication. Together, they were a spiritual force, guiding their community with grace and compassion. She was also preceded in departure by her sister, Kathy Graham, and her cherished grandson, Stephen Parker, III. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tina Parker, and her husband Stephen Parker, Jr., and her son, David McDonald, who will forever cherish the nurturing spirit she imbued in their lives. Patricia's memory will also be lovingly remembered by her sister, Lisa Mosley, and her husband Ricky Mosley, as well as her brother, Johnny Bryant, and his wife Janet Bryant. Each family member reflects a facet of Patricia's enduring love and kindness. Patricia's life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to her family and her church. She served with humility and strength alongside her husband at Way of the Cross Church in Brunswick, Georgia, and Eastside Baptist Church in East Dublin, Georgia. As a homemaker, she provided a warm and welcoming haven for all who entered her home, embodying the virtues of a faithful pastor's wife. Her interests were a mirror of her heart, as she loved her family unconditionally and absolutely adored her grandchildren. Patricia's presence was a source of comfort and joy to them, and her influence will continue to guide them through their lives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Mosley, Johnny Bryant, Stephen Parker, Jr., Skyler Parker, Shawn Parker, Fred Barber, and Ryan Parker.
