Patricia Lynne Towson, age 64, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.
Mrs. Towson was born June 15, 1958 in Laurens County to the late John Edward Self and late Ruth Scarborough Self. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired public-school teacher from Dublin City Schools after 27 years and worked part time with Oconee Fall Line Technical College. Mrs. Towson enjoyed camping, reading, and spoiling her grandchildren. She never met a stranger and greeted everyone she met with joy and love.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Yarborough.
She is survived by her husband, Ashely Towson of Dublin; daughter, Nichole (Lance) Padgett of East Dublin; son Lucas (Brook) Warren of Yuma, AZ; grandchildren, Austin Padgett, Brittany Padgett, Lexi Warren, Emma Warren, Logan Warren, and Carter Warren; sister, Glenda (David) Little of Brunswick; brothers, Don Self of Brunswick and Tommy (Linda) Self of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Jayne Towson McCluskey of Athens; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her golden retriever, Bailey, and cats, CJ and Pumpkin.
A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 1pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate.
