Patsy Anna Tolbert, age 78, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Mrs. Tolbert was born in 1941 in Macon, GA. She married her sweetheart Curtis “Gene” Tolbert in 1957 and traveled across states and overseas as a military wife. She and her husband eventually settled in Dublin, GA where they had a daughter.
Mrs. Tolbert loved to create and became a self-taught artist of multiple crafts. She particularly enjoyed painting with various mediums and has had paintings in the Dublin Georgia Museum. Throughout her life she also enjoyed ceramic doll making, jewelry making, quilting, knitting, gardening, and others. She liked to collect angel items and figurines. She was a sweet soul who was dearly loved and will be missed.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tolbert was preceded in death by her parents, James Levi Daniel and Lillian Brooks Daniel; sister, Joyce Bailey; and brothers, Charles, John Allen, and Kenneth Daniel.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and Jacob Wells, of Bonaire; brother, Bobby Daniel (Roenelle), of Musella; sisters-in-law, Sue Daniel, of Macon, and Sara Tolbert and Johnnie Mae Allen, both of Dublin, and several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, May 11, 2020 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Jerry Collins will officiate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a reputable Alzheimer’s association in her memory.
