Peggy S. Young

Mrs. Peggy S. Young, age 82, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.

Peggy was born December 23, 1941, in Perry, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Charles Juiette Story, Sr., and Mary Wynne Story; her siblings, Sara Wynne Story, Charles Juiette Story, Jr., Mary Joyce Harrell (David); a brother-in-law, Richard Courselle and a niece, Diane Courselle. Peggy enjoyed watching her favorite game shows on TV, baking for her family, and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kitty Y. (Derrick) Parham of Dublin and Denise Y. (David) Prather of Alamo; her son, Anthony Young of Dublin; two granddaughters, Whitney Hayward of Rentz and BreAnna Parham of Dublin; her great-grandson, Jayden Watkins of Rentz; and two sisters, Margie (Larry) Irwin of Wilmington, Delaware and Joette Courselle of Sauggerties, New York.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Rev. Nathan Morris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 at the cemetery.
