Graveside services for Randall Garrett, age 70, of Rockledge, will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thairdell Road, Rockledge. Joy Flanders Dykes, Tabi Goulart, Robert Garrett, and Bruce Garrett will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Mr. Garrett died Monday, February 3, 2020.
Mr. Garrett was a former deacon and treasurer of Southside Baptist Church, Cochran, GA. He managed numerous Farmers Furniture Stores and trained many employees of the company throughout his forty-five year career. Randall excelled in math and numbers. He loved spending time with family and friends.
Randall was the Special Papa to Tabi and Hunter. His new love was his first great grandchild, Amelia Sutton Goulart. His chair buddy was his brindle poodle, Max.
Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his parents, William Thurston and Annie Cantrell Garrett; daughter, Candi Donor; brothers, Leroy Garrett, Junior Garrett, J. W. Garrett, Aubrey Garrett, Wyndell Garrett, Ray Garrett; and sister, Katie Kea.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Willidean Garrett, of Rockledge; son, Chris Garrett, of Rockledge; grandchildren, Tabi Goulart (Joe), of California, Hunter Williams (Tiffany), of Kathleen; great granddaughter, Amelia Goulart, of California; brothers, Robert C. Garrett (Judy), Lamar Garrett (Eurma), both of Dublin, Raymond Garrett (Barbara), of Oak Park; sister, Oretha Warren (Oscar), of Dublin; brothers-in-law, Billy Graham (Debra),Mitchell Graham, both of Rockledge; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
