Raymond Sutton

Raymond Sutton, age 79, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020.

Mr. Sutton was born in Laurens County on August 9, 1941, to the late Dessie Jack Sutton and the late Hazel Linder Sutton. He was the owner and operator of Sutton Trucking and Sutton Logging. Raymond was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and faithfully served in many capacities including a Deacon and choir member, where he loved to sing solos.

Mr. Sutton’s favorite hobbies were making horseshoe art, riding his horse and wagon, and taking his beloved horses on trail rides. He loved his family deeply and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sheila Sutton, of Dublin, and many other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wes Pinkley and Mr. Glenn Cowart will conduct the services.
