Reda Bryan Martin, age 77, of Dexter passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at her home with her family.
Mrs. Martin was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. She was the daughter of the late George Parker Bryan and Hattie Pearl Horne Bryan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Robbie Nell Fordham and her brother, Robert Bryan, Sr.
Reda was a lifelong member of the Buckhorn Methodist Church. She was a retired seamstress, serving in various businesses, her last was with Prison Industries. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to everyone she met.
Survivors include her husband, Randall Martin, her son, Jody (Melinda) Martin, her daughter, Rhonda (Jeff) Burke all of Dexter, grandchildren Hannah Harrison (Tommy), Zach Williams (Samantha) Randee Mock (Tre), great grandchildren, Gunner Harrison, Abbie Harrison, Bo Williams, Liam Mock, Theo Mock, brother Randel (Cynthia) Bryan, sister, Renny (Phillip) Lord.
Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 8, at Buckhorn Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Buckhorn Methodist Church.
Darren Bryan, Spencer Bryan, Rondy Bryan, Robert Bryan, Jr. Buddy Fordham and Jeremy Bryan will serve as pallbearers.
