Reva Hobbs Woodard, age 96, of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 4th from 3:00 PM until 3:45 PM. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 PM at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Woodard was born on January 16, 1928, to the late Henry J. Hobbs and Pearl Fountain Hobbs. She retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center where she loved serving veterans from all walks of life. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin where she loved serving her Lord and Savior above all else. She was a prayer warrior and a wonderful friend to many. Reva was more than an aunt to her nieces and nephews; her love and devotion to her family will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.A. Woodard; and siblings, Grace Cleveland, Hilton Hobbs, T.J. Hobbs, and Mavis Brewer.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Christyl H. Kersey (Curt) of Rentz; Cheryl Hobbs (Dwayne) of Griffin; Carol H. Burke (Jamie) of Tellico Plains, TN; Retta Resnick (Quinn) of West Palm Beach, FL; Tommy Hobbs (Connie) of Macon; Chris Hobbs (Sujeny) of East Dublin; Jan Payne (Mark) of Dublin; Debbie Walker (Meredith) of Preston, and Zeb Cleveland (Frankie) of Macon, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
