Rhea Millard Crow, age 92, of Dublin, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Crow, a veteran of the US Air Force, served from October 1951 to October 1955, during the Korean Conflict. Rhea enjoyed serving others. He served in many capacities over the years in his church as a Deacon and even drove the church bus.
Rhea worked 31 years for Claxton-Lawrence Ford (Lawrence Ford, then Dublin Ford) as a lube technician. He loved his job but most of all the people he worked with and his customers. He thought of all of them as “family.”
Rhea was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R. Jewel Crow, and Rueni M. Crow; and his siblings Beatrice Crow Thomas, Dennis D. Crow, and Thomas H. Crow.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine B. Crow of Dublin; daughters: Tina C. Foskey of Dublin; Sara C. Doolittle (Bill) of Kansas City, KS; Brenda C. Coley (Darryl) of Dublin; and Deedra C. O’Neal (Ken) of Dublin; sisters: Nelda Crow of Dublin, and Juanita C. Mitchell of Macon; brothers, Robert Crow of Plano, TX, and Davis Crow (Joy) of Monroe; sister-in-law, Shirley G. Crow of Macon; grandchildren: Mandi W. McKinsey (Joe) of Elizabeth City, NC; Misti W. Benn (Nate) of Valdosta; Leighann F. Fenstermaker (Brock) of Allentown, PA; Wesley Runyon of Atlanta; Derrick Coley (Shannon) of Bloomfield, NY; Ashley Ivery of Brookhaven; Kristin I. Roberson (Trent) of Chesapeake, VA; and Heather Ivery of Columbus; great-grandchildren: Devin and Kamryn McKinsey of Elizabeth City, NC; Ethan and Ava Myers, and Iyla Whitehead of Valdosta; Karley Walker of Wetumpka, AL; Marley, Rocko, and Hynes Runyon of Odgensburg, NY; Jace Maddox of Cochran; Alyssa and Garrett Coley of Bloomfield, NY; Tristin and Dylan Roberson of Chesapeake, VA; and XO Pickett of Brookhaven.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
