Richard Andrews Obituary

Richard Thomas Andrews, age 79, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Andrews was a Veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Phillips Hospital Equipment. He was also previously employed with Oconee Fall Line Technical College and Pitts Toyota. Richard was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church where he served as song leader and in the Men’s Adult Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the Laurens Baptist Association and loved Southern Gospel music and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. and Marilu Andrews and brother-in-law, Don Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Morgan Andrews, of Dublin; son, Mark Andrews (Kim), of Macon; daughter, Karen Yawn Schuldt, of Dublin; sisters, Carolyn Davis, of Greenville, SC and Peggie Ruben (Mickey), of N. Augusta, SC; granddaughter, Taylor Andrews, of Macon; grandsons, Zachary Schuldt (Samantha), of Dexter, Jacob Schuldt (Taylor), of Ft. Riley, KS; five great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces.

Private family graveside services will be held.
