Roger William Braswell

Mr. Roger William Braswell, age 82, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Dublinair Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness.

Mr. Braswell was born December 14, 1941, in Dudley, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Willie Braswell & Beatrice Rowland Braswell; his wife, Linda Darsey Braswell; a granddaughter, Ashley Fowler; two brothers, James Braswell and Tommy Braswell and two sisters, Linda Beck and Martha Bryant. He was a member of Buckhorn Methodist Church and was the former owner/operator of SERVPRO.

He is survived by his daughters, Bonnie (Donnie) Fowler of Dudley and Brenda (Jeff) Thomas of Dudley; grandchildren; April (Brad) Swope, Hillary (Kevin) Cranford, Michael (Brooke) Thomas, Hannah (Coy) Little, Michaela Thomas and Laura Sheffield (Scott); great-grandchildren, Scarlett Cranford, Lizzie Cranford, and Kodi Thomas; three brothers, Jerry (Shirley) Braswell, Billy Braswell and Earl (Betty) Braswell.; two sisters, Jean (Joe) Hewett and Mary Ann Braswell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Buckhorn Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Dennis Waldrep and Rev. Jeff Thomas will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 P.M. until 2:30 P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be Michael Thomas, Kevin Cranford, Coy Little, Brad Swope, Jamie Brock, Brian Beck and Hunter Graham.
