Rosemary Trifiletti, age 78, of East Dublin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Rosemary was a native of Laurens County and was born on May 14, 1944, to the late Merlin Maddox and the late Marie Bright Maddox Curl. She retired from Graham Brothers Construction Company where she worked many dedicated years as a payroll clerk. She was Queen of the Red Hat Society for her chapter and was a freelance writer; having several articles published in Guide Post.
Mrs. Trifiletti was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, serving in many capacities over the years including teaching Sunday School and serving in the WMU Ministry. Rosemary loved to write, sing, garden, and spend time with her family. She loved everyone and was especially fond of her goddaughter. She was loved deeply by many and her infectious laughter and smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her in return.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Maddox; and nephews, Ricky Maddox and Rusty Maddox.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Robert Trifiletti of East Dublin; son, Chris Scott (Becky) of Ellijay; step-children, Jason Trifiletti, Jody Trifiletti, and Colby Trifiletti, all of Eastman, and Heather Giddens of Gresham; god-daughter, Michelle Edge of Soperton; grandchildren, Caleb Scott of Atlanta, Micah Scott of Warner Robins, Ruthie Scott of Savannah, and Alyssa Trifiletti of Eastman; brother, Carey Maddox of East Dublin; nieces, Kathy Wolfe of Nashville, TN and Marlene Maddox of Dexter, as well as numerous other extended family members.
Services for Mrs. Trifiletti will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Matt Haywood, Rev. Chris Scott, and Rev. Kelly Maddox will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Jason Trifiletti, Colby Trifiletti, Caleb Scott, Micah Scott, Scott Allen, and Mike Wolfe.
