Runell Churchwell

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Runell “Skinny” Churchwell, age 77, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Bluewater Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Churchwell was born June 22, 1947 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Roy Lee Tucker and Gladys Rowe Tucker; her brother, Downan Tucker and a sister, Rowe Nita Register. She was employed as an Associate with J.C. Penney & Company before becoming a partner with her husband in J&R Tools and J&R Trucking Company. Mrs. Churchwell passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at her home.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joe Churchwell of Dublin; a brother-in-law, Freddie (Linda) Churchwell; a sister-in-law, Linda Churchwell and her nieces and nephews, Paul Churchwell, Jessica Landrum, Terry Register Dale Tucker, Monty Tucker, Marvin Tucker and Dena Ankey.

The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the cemetery.
