Obituary
A graveside service for Runette Mickler, age 84, was held on April 27, 2023, at New Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steve Hamrick officiated the service.
Mrs. Mickler was born in Cochran, GA on February 9, 1939, to the late Felton Rozier and Eleanor Rutherford Rozier. She was a homemaker and always spent her time taking care of her children and grandchildren. She was a member of New Providence Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She passed away on April 25, 2023.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Virginia Rozier, Willis Rozier, Edward Rozier, Felton Rozier, Jr., and Bobby Rozier.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, David V. Mickler of Danville, GA; daughters, Debbie (Gil) Payne of Danville, GA, and Kristie Mickler of Dublin, GA; grandchildren, Connor Payne and Sydney Mixon; great-grandchildren, Aubree Moon, and Melody Moon; siblings, Barbara Williamson, Louise Etheridge, and Thomas (Sandra) Rozier; as well as several nieces and nephews.
