Russell Carey Maddox

Russell Carey Maddox, age 53, of East Dublin, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Brewton Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Church Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Tanner and Rev. Kelly Maddox will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until funeral hour at the church.

Kevin Tarpley, Johnny Tarpley, Philip Dean, Steve Brown, Pat Ballard, and Costas Gust will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Maddox was born in Laurens County and after High School acquired his electrician degree. He was a truck driver for 19 years and also had a part time job with the City of Dublin at Riverview Golf Course.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mari Jean Watson; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Ruth Watson; paternal grandparents, Merlin W. and Mary Lee Bright Maddox, and uncle, Keith E. Maddox.

Survivors include his father, Carey L. Maddox, of East Dublin; sister, Katherine Wolfe (Mike), of Tennessee; aunt, Rosemary Trifiletti (Robert), of East Dublin, and numerous cousins.
