Sandra Kay Baker, age 67, of East Dublin, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandra was born in Laurens County on December 29, 1953, to the late T.J. and Evelyn Ennis Veal. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Miller; brothers, Larry Fulford, Leon Fulford, and Stevie Veal, and sister, Wanda Wood.
She is survived by her husband, James Baker, of East Dublin; daughters, Sandy (Tim) Lloyd, of Dublin, and Jennifer (Chad) Morton, of East Dublin; son, Derek Harris, of East Dublin; brothers, Danny Veal, and Hank Veal, both of Dublin; grandchildren, James Ashley (Chasidy) Giles, of Dublin, Amber (Phillip) Shepherd, Lindsay Giles, and Karlee (Dusty) Nix, all of Dublin, Katie Waldrep, and Blake Morton, both of East Dublin, Steven Miller, of Americus, Jacob Miller, of East Dublin, and Trevor Harris, of Florida, and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mrs. Baker will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Minister Jerry Weathersby and Blake Morton will conduct the services. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.
