Sandra Ann Keen, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at the age of 86 in Athens, Alabama.
Born on January 1, 1938, in Dublin, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late, Stoy and Mary Elizabeth Keen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chase Andrew Wilson, and her daughter, Elizabeth Lois Wilson.
She is survived by her children, Cameron Larimore (Ron) of Sandersville, GA, Camille Thomas (Don) of Athens, AL, and Henry "Hank" Clay Wilson, III of Magnolia, TX. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Stoylene Priest of Milledgeville, and one niece.
Sandra's journey through life was marked by her devotion to her family and her passion for nature. An avid horse lover and trainer, she found solace in the company of her equine friends and the open fields where they roamed. Her love for the outdoors was paralleled only by her love for animals, particularly the toy poodles she raised with care and expertise for over five decades.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Graham Memorial Nazarene Church Cemetery.
