Sandra's life was a testament to love, selflessness, and faith, qualities that she embodied every day.
Sandra was the beloved wife of 65 years to the late Alfred Burney Knight. Her daughter, Valerie Knight Page, and brother, Gene Myers, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Knight (Andy) Smith of Dexter; granddaughters, Jenna Smith (Dusty) Williams of Rincon, GA, and Jamie Lynn Smith (Mitchell) of Dexter, GA; great-grandchildren, Cam and Avery Williams and Mallie Smith; sister-in-law, Fay Myers of Dexter; extended family members, Kenny Register (Lynn) of Dexter, and several nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Sandra was a pillar of the Dexter community. She was a very active member of Antioch Baptist Church, where her faith-filled life was an inspiration to many. Sandra's professional life was marked by her long tenure as a dedicated employee at Knight State Bank of Dexter, where she worked until her retirement.
Family meant everything to Sandra, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. She found great joy in fishing and spending time with her family at the lake. Sandra's love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her presence was a source of comfort and happiness.
