Sara Lake

Sara C. Lake, age 90, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Lake was born in Dublin to the late Zackery Coxwell and Mary Thigpen Coxwell. Mrs. Lake was a homemaker, always working diligently to care for her children and her home. She was a member of Gethsemene Methodist Church. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Lake, her son, Bruce Lake, and siblings, Coney Lee Coxwell and Virginia C. Bush.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Mike Lake (Debbie) of East Dublin; daughter, Susan Hartmangruber of Rockledge; grandchildren, Rodney Lake and Guy Lake (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Olivia Lake and Sam Lake; and daughter-in-law, Jan Lake of Dublin.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tom Vann will officiate.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Three Rivers Home Health, Remarkable Hospice, Fairview Park Rehab, and her loving caregivers Marie and Bobby Miller.
