Sarah Faulk Obituary

Sarah Ellen Faulk, aged 68, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, in Dublin, Georgia. Born on August 15, 1956, in McRae, Georgia; she was preceded by her parents, Preston B. White and Ellen Eliza Coleman White, her beloved husband David Faulk of 35 years, her cherished son Donnie Faulk, and her sister Martha Oliver.

Sarah's life was a testament to her thoughtful and selfless nature. She spent many years dedicated to her role as a payroll clerk at Corrections Corporation of America, where she retired after a long and fulfilling career. Her work ethic and commitment to her colleagues were evident in the lasting friendships and respect she garnered throughout her professional journey.

Sarah was the loving mother of four sons: Chris Wright, Jason Wright and his wife Tina, Adam Faulk, and Michael Faulk and his wife Mandy. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, Dylan Faulk and his wife DeLanah, Blake Faulk and his wife Becca, Rylee Wright, and Bradyn Wright, and delighted in the joy of her four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Grace Faulk, Easton Faulk, Drake Faulk, and Case Faulk. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Linda Graham, Alma Seabolt and her husband Coonshine, Elaine Conner, and Larry White and his wife Peggy and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by two dear friends, who she regarded as sisters, Sheila Braddy and June White.

Sarah's interests were as unique and vibrant as her personality. She had a passion for doing puzzles. Antique shopping was another of Sarah's favorite activities, and she could often be found in search of the next addition to her beloved collection of chicken-themed items and assorted what-nots.

Her love for Pepsi was well-known, a simple pleasure that she enjoyed until her final days. But above all, Sarah's greatest love was her family, especially her grandchildren. Her home was a hub of warmth and care, a place where the laughter of her loved ones was the sweetest music to her ears. She had a way of making each family member feel special and cherished, and her absence will leave an irreplaceable void in their lives.

Sarah's sass and spirited nature never waned, and it was this zest for life that endeared her to so many. She had the remarkable ability to lift spirits with just a few words, and her presence was a source of comfort and joy. Her legacy is one of unwavering love, boundless generosity, and a life lived with an open heart.
