Sarah Warnock Wood

Sarah Warnock Wood, age 77, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Wood was born in Rockledge, Georgia to the late Elbert Warnock and the late Emma Johnson Warnock on December 1, 1945. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She retired from Biljo’s Pant Factory after working in quality control. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Lila Mae Warren and brothers, Brayford Warnock, Jimmy Warnock, and Junior Warnock.

She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Stacy) Smith of Dublin and Teresa (Kevin) Milton of Gray; granddaughter, Ashton Smith of Dublin; grandsons, Blake Smith of Dublin, Corbin Toler (Stephanie) of Macon, Dylan Milton (Tiffany) of Macon, and Chase Milton of Gray; great-granddaughter, Karley Smith of Dublin; great-grandson, Brayden Milton of Macon; brother, Jack (Betty Joe) Warnock of Dublin; sister, Faye Fort of Dublin; sister, Dianne (Glen) Shiver of Dublin; and sister-in-law, Maudie Warnock of Gordon.

Services will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Union Baptist Church with graveside to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Jordy Barwick and Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate.

Pallbearers include Corbin Toler, Blake Smith, Dylan Milton, Chase Milton, Ricky Warnock, and Kenneth Warren.
