Sarah (Sally) Kingman Jarvis Battle
Sally K. Battle, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Mrs. Battle was born in Macon, Ga and graduated from Dublin High School. Sally was a loving wife and mother. Miss Sally loved life and people. She always had a beautiful smile and greetings for all of her many friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends where she was known for her skill as a champion card player. Her faith was the foundation of her life.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald R. Jarvis, parents, Charles and Birdie Kingman.
Sally’s smile and love will be carried on through her loving family. She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Ray Battle, her daughter Laura Wilhoite, son-in-law Arnold Wilhoite, grandson Wesley (Jenne) Wilhoite, granddaughter Donna Jean (Jeffrey) Laws, and great-grandchildren, who called her Gan-Gan, Kate and Riley Laws and Zoie Wilhoite, and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm prior to the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
