Sherilyn (Coleman) Hester

Sherilyn Coleman Hester, age 77, of Rentz, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Hester was born in Laurens County on February 27, 1944, to the late Roger A. and Myraline Coleman. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Hester; son, Rod Hill, and brother, Andy Coleman.

Survivors include her grandson, Roger Blake Hill (Jamie), of Montezuma; granddaughter, Ashley Hill Bailey (Seth), of Rentz; sister, Gail C. Smith (Val), of Rentz; brother, Jeff Coleman, of Rentz; six great-grandchildren; step-sons, Tony Hester (Kathleen), of Cadwell, and Carlos Hester, of North GA; stepdaughter, Daurie H. Cumbie (Ricky), of Cochran, and several loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hester will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate.
