Shirley Thomas Obituary

Shirley T. Thomas, age 85 of Dexter, died Friday, October 2, 2020.

Mrs. Thomas was a Member of Dexter Baptist Church, the Pilot Club of Dublin, and was the office manager of Earl Thomas State Farm Insurance Agency. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Murray T. Thompson and Ruby Fordham Thompson, and a son, James Thomas.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Thomas of Dexter, children; Raymond (Nancy) Thomas of Dudley, Jan Brown of Grovetown, and John (Kerri) Thomas of Dexter, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held for Mrs. Thomas at Dexter Baptist Church Cemetery. A celebration of life service will be held in her memory later.
