Steve Windham

Steven Randolph Windham entered into the loving arms of Jesus on March 29, 2025, after an extended illness. Steve was born October 29, 1955 in Dublin, Georgia to Clovis Ray Windham and Elizabeth Johnson Windham.

Steve was a quiet soul who loved solitude. Those who took the time to know Steve knew he had a brilliant mind and thought deeply about many subjects. He loved music and had over three hundred albums in his collection. His favorite artists were not limited to but included the Beatles, Elton John, and Julie London. Steve was a lover of nature, beauty, and art. If educated to the fullest of his capabilities, he could've been an artist, an architect, a scientist, or anything he wished to become. Steve was immensely devoted to his mother and loved his family greatly. Steve came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord in May of 2024. Humbly, he questioned how God could love a person like him. How could anyone not love Steve? He was one of the best!

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Clovis Ray Windham, and his mother, Elizabeth Johnson Windham; his brothers, David Windham and Jamie Windham; and his sisters, Cheryl Windham and Karon Kaleta. He was also preceded in death by a very special niece, Shanna Windham, whom he loved dearly.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wayne Durden officiating.
