Susan “Susie” Lynn Brown, passed away on May 21, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia, at the age of 62.
Born on September 15, 1963, in Dublin, Georgia, Susan was the beloved daughter of the late Tim and Helen Knight Fordham. She was a devoted mother to Amber Brown (Lee Howell), and April Brown. She was also a proud and loving grandmother to Zane Bentley, Nathan Bentley, and Penelope Brown, each of whom brought her great joy. Susan shared a special companionship with her partner, John McKee, and she treasured the many years of love, support, and friendship they shared. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, all of whom will remember her with affection and gratitude. She was the kindest and most wonderful mother to her daughters.
Susan’s life was enriched by the things she enjoyed most. She loved crafts and took pleasure in creating with her hands. She had a deep appreciation for horses and the beauty and spirit they represented. Fishing was another pastime she enjoyed, offering her peaceful moments and time to reflect. She also loved being outdoors and spending time in her flower garden, where she found comfort, beauty, and a sense of peace. These interests were a reflection of her gentle nature and her appreciation for the world around her. Those who knew Susan will remember her as a steady and loving presence. She had a way of making others feel cared for and understood, and her family will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Her kindness, patience, and devotion left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though her passing leaves a deep sadness, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
