Obituary
A memorial service for Susan Bracewell Gay, age 74, will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM at First Methodist Church with visitation an hour prior to the service. Rev. David Thompson and Rev. Brian Gay will officiate.
Susan was born in Dublin to the late Joseph Bracewell and the late Carolyn Lee Bracewell on January 6, 1949. She was a retired school teacher and counselor at Dublin City Schools. She enjoyed playing card games and traveling. She was a member of First Methodist Church, First Methodist Ladies Tuesday Night Bible Study, and Jabez small group.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Bracewell.
She is survived by her son, Todd (Melissa) Gay of Dublin; son, Brian (Jennifer) Gay of Valdosta; daughter, Brenda (Lee) Henderson of Kathleen; and grandchildren, Blake Henderson, Garner Gay, Haley Katheryn Henderson, Mackenzie Gay, Greyden Gay, and Griffin Gay.
Townsend Brothers Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
