Susan (Pittman) Necci

Susan Pittman Necci, age 44, of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

Susan was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 6, 1976. She was a 1995 Graduate of Dublin High School, where she was a member of the Dublin Fighting Irish Band and an Irish cheerleader. Susan received her Bachelor’s in Education Degree from Middle Georgia College, and her Master’s in Education from Georgia College and State University. She was a Special Education Teacher with the Laurens County Board of Education and taught for many years in the East Laurens System, teaching her first seven years at Heartland Academy. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, an avid Atlanta Falcons Fan, and loved animals of any kind. She will always be remembered for her contagious smile, impeccable sense of style, and her kind heart. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother, daughter, friend, and teacher. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have been loved by her.

Survivors include her husband, Craig Necci, of Dublin; daughters, Madison and Mallori Necci, of Dublin; parents, Frank and Vicki Pittman, of Dublin; brother, Michael Pittman, of East Dublin; father-in-law, Tony Necci, of Dublin; mother-in-law, Pat Snelsire, of Hinesville; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved boxer, Abby Rose.

Private family graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Chris Dixon will officiate. Graveside services will be live streamed on Townsend Brothers Funeral Home Facebook page on Thursday. The family will hold a public Memorial Service at a later date.
