Charles Terry Dalton, age 69, of Dublin, Georgia, passed away on February 23, 2024. He was born on December 19, 1954, in Dublin, Georgia.
Terry worked for many years as a self-employed painter before transitioning to an over-the-road truck driver for the past decade. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual.
A member of the Laurens County Sportsman’s Club, Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and all outdoor activities. He was always on the go, relishing family cookouts, especially Friday night steak grilling sessions. His award-winning Brunswick stew and unmatched BBQ skills were a testament to his passion for cooking. Terry Dalton will be remembered for his kind and tenderhearted nature, his strong work ethic, and his love for the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Dalton and Betty Martin Dalton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilmon and Lois Brack; two brothers-in-law, Jeffery Brown and James Brack; and sister-in-law, Dale Brack.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pam Dalton; daughter, Tammy Dalton (Eric Rowland); son, Charlie Dalton; grandchildren, Brayden Riley, Paisley Dalton, Jenna Rowland, Jaelynn Rowland, and Johannah Rowland; two sisters, Cheryl Brown and Dena (Stanley) Jessup; brother, Rocky (Sharon) Dalton; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. George Grimes officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the funeral home.
