Funeral Services for Timothy J. “Tim” Raasch will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Dublin on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. The Rev. David O. Probst will officiate.
Mr. Raasch, age 76, died Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Parkview Hospital. He had been in declining health for some time.
A native of Duluth, Minnesota, he grew up in Omaha and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska.
He was a United States Air Force veteran and was retired from AT&T, serving as a Point of Presence (POP) manager for the southeast through his Atlanta office.
Prior to moving to Dublin six years ago, Tim was very active in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, holding numerous positions of trust. He was a delegate to the Diocesan Council for eighteen consecutive years. In Dublin, he was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, and DIY activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Doris (Wahlstrom) Raasch; twin brother, Jim, and brother, Steve Raasch. Survivors include his husband, J. V. Michael Motes; niece, Allison Raasch Mayfield; nephew, Jason Cadle, and Brian Schenk.
A memorial service will be held at St. James Episcopal Church in Marietta at a future date.
