Tommy Chris Graham

Tommy "Chris" Graham, affectionately known to loved ones and friends as Chris, passed away on December 20, 2025.

Born on June 22, 1970, Chris's journey through life was one of steadfast love and kindness—a constant source of comfort to all who knew him. Predeceased by his father, Robert Graham, his mother, Shirley Roberson Graham, his brothers, Earl and Kenneth Graham, his step-mother Annelle Graham, and his step-sister Debbie Maddox, Despite the loss of so many close to him, Chris's spirit never wavered, his life a tribute to the love they shared.

Survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, June Gay Graham of Rentz, Chris's love story continues through their shared memories. His enduring connection with his family is further upheld by his sister-in-law, Pam Graham, and his mother-in-law, Wanda Gay. The younger generations of his family—nieces and nephews Alex (Carrie) Graham, Kristinia Graham, Christopher (Bridgett) Maddox, and Amy Maddox, along with his great-niece Kyrie Preston (Merric) and great-great-niece Lillith Preston—will carry forward the gentleness that Chris embodied in every interaction.

Chris was an alumnus of East Laurens High School, from which he graduated in 1989. His dedication to his work was evident during his tenure with Mohawk, continuing until its closure. Later in life, Chris found purpose and joy in the working at Green Acre Farms, where his work ethic and friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure. Outside the structure of employment, Chris was an active Christian, living his faith through actions filled with compassion and selflessness. He was a Member of Rentz Baptist Church. His hobbies painted the picture of a man who took pleasure in life’s simple moments. An enthusiast of hunting, fishing, and ham radios, Chris found balance in nature and in connecting with the world around him.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Rentz Baptist Church. Rev Tom Vann and Rev Grady Mimbs will officiate. Burial will follow in Rentz Cemetery. Chris’ family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time. Kyle Fordham, Randy Patisaul, David Gay, Daniel Yarbrough, Justin Veal, Earl Greene, Caleb Skipper and Mike Hood will serve as pallbearers.
