Tony Ray Register

Tony Ray Register, age 59, of Rentz, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Tony was born in Laurens County on October 1, 1962, and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a long-haul truck driver, welder, and boiler technician. He loved spending time outdoors, as well as fishing, and gardening.

Mr. Register was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Clayton and Frances Rogers Schell; father, Roy Mack Register; brothers, Rodney Register and Johnnie Clayton Schell; grandparents, Bill and Beatrice Rogers, and J.C. and Opal Schell.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Anello (Andrew) of Swainsboro; siblings: Roy Register (Brenda) of Beaufort, SC; Judy Hart (Billy) of Dudley; Sue Davidson (Jeff) of Dexter; grandchildren: David Register, Ava Cook, Aiden Anello, and Eleana Anello, all of Swainsboro; nieces: Heather Reynolds, Sydney Davidson, and Abbey Davidson; nephew, Jonathan May, and great-nieces, Katelyn Hines and Raelynn Reynolds of Dudley.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Rentz City Cemetery. Rev. Calvin Halcomb will officiate.
