Vera Suzanne (Smith) Stewart

A funeral service for Vera Suzanne Smith Stewart, age 67, will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Pastor Barbara Nelson will officiate the service.

Ms. Stewart was born in Dublin to Lewis Smith and Annette Beall on February 27, 1956. She was a member of Dublin First Methodist Church. She was a retired pharmacy clerk after working with Oatts Drug Store. She loved her cat, Noah, enjoyed cooking, and watching cooking shows on TV. She was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. She passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lewis Smith.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Wade Stewart (Bessie Jay) of Decatur; grandchildren, Ellie Stewart and Ben Stewart of Decatur; mother, Annette Beall of Dublin; and brother, Lewis Smith.
