Virginia Mae Thomas McNair, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at the age of 94 in Toomsboro, GA. Born on December 18, 1930, in Crescent, GA, she was a beacon of love and kindness throughout her life.
Virginia was the cherished daughter of the late Leonard and Bessie Thomas and was predeceased by her loving husband, Del McNair, and her siblings, Fern Hall, Gene McNair, and Tanunja McNair. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, embodied by her daughter, Mary Dell Hobbs (Zeke) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Diana Lumley, Kristy Gregory, Justin McNair, and Jeffrey Hall; and her adoring great-grandchildren. Virginia is also survived by her sister, Mary Ann Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.
Virginia's life was marked by her unwavering faith as a member of the Presbyterian Church. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her actions and the way she lived her life. She was a woman of great virtue, who found her calling in caring for others. Virginia's work history included many years as a dedicated sitter, where she provided comfort and care to those in need. Her selfless nature was a true testament to her character.
Graveside services for Mrs. Virginia will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Hutto will officiate.
