Virginia (Wilkes) Smith

Virginia Wilkes Smith, age 83, of Rockledge, passed away on February 6, 2024.

Mrs. Smith was a native of Laurens County and was born on February 7, 1940, to the late Oscar and Agnes Spivey Wilkes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry E. Smith; daughter, Virginia Lee Smith; grandson, Damien Smith; great-granddaughter, Breanne Dice, and great-grandson, Ryder Wilson.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Edwards (Mark) of Aiken, SC and Cynthia Slaughter (Randy) of Rockledge; son, Henry Smith of Rockledge; grandchildren: Laura Dice (Billy Joe) of East Dublin, David Hartmangruber (Emily) of Suwanee, Crystal Slaughter of Dublin, Robert Slaughter of Rockledge, Brittney Smith of Rockledge, Sierra Smith of Cochran, and Catlyn Smith of East Dublin; great-grandchildren: Taylor Howard of Cadwell, Landan Howell of Dublin, Brent Dice of East Dublin, Isaac Hartmangruber of Suwanee
