Virginia (Cliatt) Yarbrough

Virginia Cliatt Yarbrough, age 92, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born May 8, 1928 to the late Edward Judson Cliatt and the late Norma Spires Cliatt. She was a member of Springdale Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star #175. She enjoyed people and always made people welcome in her home. A question that was often asked was, “Is there anything I can do? And if she could, she did. The family would like to say a special thanks to her caregivers, Matilda Basley, Rachel Basley, Mary Alywine, and Marilyn Rogers.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Yarbrough was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Emory Lee Yarbrough; son, Gary Yarbrough, and brothers, Rowland Cliatt and Edward Cliatt.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Yarbrough (Sandra), and Brian Yarbrough, both of Dublin; grandchildren, Daniel Yarbrough (Jeana), Dawn Yarbrough, Eric Yarbrough, Denny Yarbrough, and Edward Van Winger (Bear); great-grandchildren, Dayten Shiver and Grayson Yarbrough; daughter-in-law, Linda Yarbrough, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate.
