Wallace Perry Dean, age 89, of Dublin passed away peacefully on June 13, 2020.
Mr. Dean was born in Dublin to the late Mr. Edward Dean and Mrs. Mabon Perry Dean. He was a farmer and as most farmers do, he loved the life as a farmer. He was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and was a former Deacon and Sunday School Teacher there. Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his wife, Celestine Barfoot Dean, his parents, Edward and Mabon Dean, a half sister, Mabon Strickland and a half brother, Frank Scarborough.
He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Sewell (Thomas), his sons, David Dean (Cathy), Rob Dean (Mylynda), Jeff Dean (Lisa) and his daughter, Carol White (Jeff) all of Dublin. 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Dean on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church Cemetery with the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Rev. Rusty Stewart will officiate.
Serving as pall bearers will be his grandsons, Matt Lybrand, Marty Lybrand, Cory Dean, Brandon Dean, JT Dean, Daniel White, Ryan Duncan, Jacob Dean, Joseph White, and Derek Albritton.
The family request in lieu of flowers that donations can be sent to Serenity Hospice at 1022 Hillcrest Pkwy #200 Dublin, GA 31021.
The family headquarters will be the home of David and Cathy Dean.
