Walter Jay Frost

Walter Jay Frost, age 56, of East Dublin, passed away on August 13, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Frost was born on February 15, 1968, in Vidalia, Georgia. He was an employee of Forstman & Co. for 15-plus years. Walter was a dedicated life-long tow truck driver and enjoyed playing cards.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Louis Frost, and step-father, J.L. Clark.

Survivors include his mother Mary Faircloth Clark, of East Dublin; daughter, Danielle Hanson of East Dublin; son, DJ Brown (Autumn) of East Dublin; grandchildren: Alyssa Hanson, Hayden Hanson, Easton Brown, and Gemma Brown; sisters, Jackie Hartley and Loretta Rentz; brother, Jake Clark (Rachel); aunt, Ann Sumner, several nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Rev. Scotty Herndon will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Josh Rentz, Jesse Clark, Brandon Clark, Scott Galliard, Shane Grinstead, and Gary Hanson.
