Wayne Jones

Wayne Jones, age 79, of Dublin, passed away on April 27, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Keith Myers will officiate.

Mr. Jones was the owner and operator of Jones Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith and a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father Austin Jones; mother, Rosa Lee Burnham Jones, and siblings, Austin Jones, Jr., Alice Thompson, Ray Jones, and Ronnie Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia ”Pat” S. Jones; daughters, Robbie Bailey (Andy), and Tracey Walker (Mike); son, Jason Jones (Jerica); ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Jones, Debra Jones, and Danny Jones, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gideon’s International or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
